Ali Ojjeh has been part of Northgate since 2004 and currently serves as Chairman. Ali served on Northgate’s LP Advisory Board from 2004 to 2016. Ali is the co-founder and CEO of The Capital Partnership (Ltd) (“TCP”). TCP is both a large investor in Northgate funds as well as a key shareholder of the firm. Ali brings over two decades of experience investing in and helping to build leading growth companies with specific expertise in international markets.
Prior to co-founding TCP in 1998, he worked in various departments at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York, including Equity Research, Equity Proprietary Trading and Principal Investments specializing in Technology and Energy investments. Ali is the former vice-chairman of the advisory council at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) where he served for seven years. He is also a former council member of the Freeman Spogli Institute (FSI) at Stanford University. Ali holds a B.Sc. from Carnegie-Mellon University and an MBA from Stanford. He also received the "Best article of the year" award from the Wharton Journal in 1988.
